It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Misner of Swan Lake, New York, born in Monticello, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ruth leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin, Sr. Coney and Julia King Coney; her husband Emerson "Bucky" Misner, Sr.; and her sons, Barry Colo and Richard Colo.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Stadtmuller (Raymond) of Edenton, Emerson "Bucky" Misner Jr. (Terry) of Forked River, NJ and George Misner of Swan Lake, NY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
