He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Mir and Maria Fernandez Mir; and his son Oscar Mir. He is survived by: his wife Emilia S. Mir; his children, Robert J. Mir (Ann) of Liberty, NY and Araceli E. Mir-Pontier (Glenn) of Barryville, NY; his sister Luz Pinacho of Brooklyn, NY; and his grandchildren, Bryan Useo, Jason Parker, Christopher Useo, Nicole Slevin Nikolados, Tanya Mir, Brianna Mir, Hannah Mir and Elena Mir. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Nestor's name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
