He was predeceased by: his sister Lorraine Orehek. He is survived by: his children, Chester Stungis III (Tammy) of Neversink and Deborah Rocha (Luis) of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlin Stungis of Neversink, Alexandre and Madalena Rocha of Indiana.
