With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Blowers (Swain, New York), born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Blowers and Viola Blowers (Truax). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Margie" Fucci; his children, Mary Clark (Chris) of Corning and James "Jimmy" Blowers of Nunda; his sisters, Patricia Wright (Ed), Bonnie Miller (Leon Lacy) of Swain and Mary Lou Kernahan of Hammondsport; and his grandchildren, Bryce Clark and Jaiden Blowers. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Please note that those unvaccinated against the Covid Virus are required to wear a face mask.

Jim's family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Canaseraga Conservation Club.

“Marge, Mary, Jimmy... riding with Bloss to work was one of the highlights of every day that we car-pooled. Loved to hear his stories, his outlook and his constant humor. Every time that I remember things he said or did puts a smile on my face. Each time I would drive into Swain I looked to see if the barn door was open, indicating that he was out there puttering or relaxing. It always gave me an excuse to stop and have a few laughs for a while. He'll be greatly missed by many, MANY people.”
