She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bavslik and Carolina Bencik Bavslik; her former husband Joseph Valik; her siblings, Joe, Charlie, Eddie and Pauline; and her sister-in-law Olga Valik Hlavac.

She is survived by: her husband Joe; her nieces, Paula, Caroline, Carol, Ilona, Janie and Annemarie; her nephew Otto; and her friend Keith White.
