With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Eikhof (Suffern, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Shirley may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her foster mother Mary Emma Konnight Gordon; and her foster siblings, Charles W. Gordon, Marion Belyuh and Christina Schutte. She is survived by: her grandson Edward Dolan; her nephew Thomas Eikhof (Barbra); and her niece Kathleen Phillips (Frank).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wannamaker Carlough Funeral Home (177 NY-59, Suffern, NY 10901). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to GiGi's Playhouse Westchester in support of her beloved grandson Edward.
