She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Mullin and Kathryn Mullin (Connery); her husband William McDonald; her siblings, Rita Mullin, MaryJo Fee and Judy Gatley; her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Hennig, Annette Mullin, Jack Fee, Marty Fleming and Alan Gatley; and her friend Joanna Longo.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Murphy (Mike), Patrick McDonald (Dawn), Carolyn McGinley and Susan O'Grady (Dave); her siblings, Patricia Begin (Dave), Thomas Mullin (Frieda), Jacquelin Fleming, Daniel Mullin (Dottie), Geralyn Mullin and Kerry Ciccaglione (Terry); and her brother-in-law Lenny Hennig. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginger's honor can be made to the ALS United Greater New York Chapter.

“I am a parishioner at the Church of the Presentation. I met Ginger on my Cornerstone Weekend many, many years ago. Whenever I saw Ginger at Church we would share stories about our families. She had the most beautiful smile on her face when she spoke. I have missed seeing her and talking with her. I have no doubt Ginger is in heaven. How she must have smiled when she heard the words, "Well gone, good and faithful servant." May she rest in peace. Joan Mirabile”
