It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Hanigan Kosuda of Suffern, New York, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away at the age of 72, on May 2, 2022. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Michael Kosuda (Kathryn) and Kathryn Kosuda (Sina Yeganeh) of Cambridge; her spouse Yasunori Kosuda; her child Toronto; and her grandsons, Rory and Rowan.
In retirement, Helen experienced a flourishing of new activities, like singing in the Hudson Valley Chorale and union service with the Organization of Staff Analysts Retirees Club (OSARC) where she assumed a leadership role just in time to lead the COVID transition to Zoom, in spite of which, she was able to find innovative ways to grow participation.
