He is survived by: his spouse Sylvia Margaret Breed; his children, Eve Vaterlaus of New City, NY, Anne Vaterlaus of Providence, RI, Eric Vaterlaus of Nyack, NY and Paul Vaterlaus of Sarasota, FL; and his grandchildren, Claire Vaterlaus-Staby, Andrew Vaterlaus-Staby, Samuel Vaterlaus, Donald Sheridan, Nicholas Vaterlaus and Benjamin Vaterlaus.
