She was predeceased by: her husband Lino P. De Vuono; and her brother Gaspare Rocco. She is survived by: her daughter Maria De Vuono-Homberg; her son-in-law Michael Homberg; her grandchildren, Bianca and Steven; her daughter Debora De Vuono-Sullivan; her son-in-law Frank Sullivan; her grandchildren, Neil and Alexandra; her brother Luigi Rocco; and her niece Veronica.
The family plans to host a memorial service and celebration of Giovanna's life in 2022 after the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Feeding America.
