He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hogan and Patricia Hogan. He is survived by: his wife Angie; his children, Frederick and Sabrina; his siblings, Patricia Roth (Glenn), Timothy (Teresa) and Mary Parry (Robert); and his brother-in-law Jurgen Schauss. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, directly to the John Theurer Cancer Center program.
