With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen W. Planeta (Suffern, New York), born in New York, New York, who passed away on May 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Barry and James Barry; her husband William Planeta; and her sister Margaret Ortiz. She is survived by: her children, Geri of Suffern, William (Eileen) of Airmont, John of Suffern and Catherine of Suffern; her grandchildren, Chrystal and William Planeta; and her siblings, Mary, Kathleen, James (Carole) and Philip (Janet). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
