He is survived by: his wife Mary; his close friend Mary; and his grandchildren, Colleen, Thomas, William, Christian, Kerry, Julia, Lauren, Brendan, Claire, Molly and Aedan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the American Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Institute or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
