He is survived by: his wife Ann Bosico (Buchek Melita); his children, Leo Melita (Marie), Susan Hitchock, Ann Marie McCarthy (Tom) and Margaret Collins (Kevin); his grandchildren, Michael, Annie, Maria, Katherine, William, Allison (Austin) and Christopher; and his sister Cecelia Abrams.
