He was predeceased by: his parent Camite Cadet; his brother Ernst Grand-Pierre; and his nephew Ernst Grand-Pierre, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Claudette Cadet; his children, Cynthia Cadet, Jessie Djata and James Cadet; his children-in-law, Pierre Antoine Louis and Dorothy Cadet; his grandchildren, Victoria Cadet, Pierre Louis, James Cadet II, Sophie Louis, Gabriella Cadet, Stephen Djata and Alexander Cadet; his nephews, Ervenst Grand-Pierre and Erby Grand-Pierre; and his great-nieces, Eidayjha Grand-Pierre and Ervuana Grand-Pierre.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate that donations in Jean-Claude's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
