With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet M. Burns of Stony Point, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Burns; her son John; and her brothers, Frank and William. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Simmoneau (Glenn) of Stony Point, NY and Kathleen Maffia (Pete) of Algonquin, IL; her grandchildren, Natalie Rose Maffia and Albert J. Simmoneau; and her brother Robert (Doris Halstead) of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Immaculate Conception Church and The Stony Point Fire Department.
