He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Matera and Kathleen Matera (Quinn); his sister Marie Radziewski; his daughter Mary Ann Kinzel; his wife Angelina of Stony Point, NY.; his son Michael (Kim); his grandson David Matera of Stony Point, NY.; his son-in-law Paul Kinzel; and his granddaughters, Kayla Dillon (Dom) and Marissa Kinzel of Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Al's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
