He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pignata and Mary Pignata; and his sisters, Marie and Annette. He is survived by: his wife Mary T. Pinnata of Stony Brook, N. Y.; his children, Mark (Mary), Julie (Charlie), John, Robert (Ann), Michael (Jennifer), Jennifer and Maria (James); his grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney, Patrick, Savannah, Jane, Lexi, Bridget, Jack, Cian and Jake; and his great grandchildren, Rowan and Nolan.
