With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles J. Van Wagenen Sr. of Stone Ridge, New York, born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wagenen and Edna Winegard Van Wagenen; his brother Robert Van Wagenen; and his grandson Ryan Kelder. He is survived by: his wife Jane Van Wagenen; his children, Charles J. Van Wagenen Jr. of Kingston, Justin D. Van Wagenen of Stone Ridge, Maria Naccarato (late Peter J. Naccarato Jr.) of Kingston and Carole Kelder (Vince) of Saugerties; his grandchild Randi Kelder of Saugerties; and his brothers, Kenneth and Dennis Van Wagenen of Lomontville. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
