He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William J. and Doris M. Benson, Jr. (Sarle); his wife Mary J. Benson of Stillwater; his daughter Tara Byrne (Paul); his grandchildren, Mya, Audrey of Niskayuna and Jamie Benson; his great grandchild Briana of Stillwater; his siblings, Austin Benson (Kathy) and Roberta Stanczak; his brother-in-law Thomas Gorsky; his son Thomas Benson; his siblings, Warren Benson and Mary Irene Benson; and also Janet Gorsky. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, friends.
