He was predeceased by: his father Peter; and his nephew Reuben Messian. He is survived by: his wife Denise Salvi Valdeon; his children, Peter (Megan Valdeon III) and Jessica Valdeon; his granddaughters, Grace and Emma; and his siblings, Debbie Simmons (Allan), Diana Neeley (John) and Paul Valdeon.
