He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Hoffman and Gertrude Hall Hoffman; his daughter Wendy Thilking; and his siblings, Doris Luck, Grace Chamberlain, Evelyn and Everett Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hoffman; his children, Alonna Hoffman (Jack Nelson) and Timothy Hoffman; and his grandchildren, Christopher Teal (Ashley), Jacquie McBride (James), Mathew Hayner, Cheryl Vredenberg (Timothy) and Jesse Hayner (Cierra). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
