She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Coates and Agnes Coates (Miner); her husband James; her grandchildren, Jamie, Lori, Brandon and Jennifer Curtis; and her sister Sharon Rocha.
She is survived by: her children, James Curtis of Martville, Susan Lavere (Dennis) of Adams, Steven Curtis (Melody), Larry Curtis (Tammy) of Red Creek and Donald Curtis (Debi) of Camillus; and her siblings, Emilie Struthurs (Stan) and Howard Coates (Patty) of Clay. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
