He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gartner and Mary Gartner (Yestremski). He is survived by: his significant other Mary; his sister Carole Ehlinger (Jim) of Colts Neck; his nieces, Christine McDonough (Dan) and Catherine Ehlinger; his nephew James Ehlinger, Jr. (Regina); his great-nieces, Allison, Megan and Katelyn McDonough; and his aunt Mimi Gartner.
