It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Dowdy of Steamburg, New York, born in Salamanca, New York, who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Crouse and Genevieve Snow Crouse; her children, Kimberly Jacobs and Kyle Dowdy Sr.; and her brothers, Merlin Redeye and LaVern Redeye.
She is survived by: her children, Kristine Dowdy of Salamanca, NY, Kelly Bomberry (Christopher) of Kill Buck, NY, Kory Dowdy of Steamburg, NY and Kerwin Dowdy of Salamanca, NY; and her brother Martin Crouse Sr. of Jimersontown, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
