She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Quirk; her parents, James and Nora Murray; and her siblings, James, Lawrence, John, Thomas, Frances Higgins, Kathleen Murray and Mary Murray.
She is survived by: her children, John (Patricia), Michael (Marie), Stephen (Marguerite), Noreen Tortora (late Bernard), Timothy (Patty), Mary Tierney (Tom), Virginia Reid (Edwin) and James (Antoinette). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Virginia's family would appreciate donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
