She was predeceased by: her son Timothy (Ann); her grandson Brian; her parents, Clarence Dixon and Nora Carey; and her siblings, Clarence and Catherine Schiera (Dorothy Melniszyn).

She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Bruce Viera (late Robert), Mark and Ann Holcomb (Jeffery); her grandchildren, Denise, Jamie, Kerry, David, Eric, Lisa, Theresa and Erin; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Kieron, Adam, Catlyn, Timothy, Emily, Daniel and Brooklyn.

In Lieu of flowers: Donations to The Eye Bank of New York would be deeply appreciated by her family.
