With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley T. Echevarrieta (Staten Island, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary LaRosa and Bernard LaRosa; and her husband Fabian J. Echevarrieta. She is survived by: her children, Fabian, Damian Echevarrieta and Elise Echevarrieta; and her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Mark and Damian Echevarrieta Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home (7447 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church (6135 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10309).
In lieu of flowers, loved ones are encouraged to make a donation in Shirley's name to Friends of Firefighters.
