It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard O. Sarnes Jr. (Staten Island, New York), born in Tottenville, New York, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard O. Sarnes, Sr. and Kathleen Collins; his sons, Justin and Tyler Sarnes; his siblings, Melissa Reino (Sarnes), Daniel Sarnes and Philip Sarnes; his nieces and nephews, Ashley and Emma of Adriana, CJ; and his great-nieces, Athena and Violet.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home (7447 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
