He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Richard L. Sabella, Daniel A. Sabella and Diane L. Wright (John); his stepchildren, Scott Buono (Michelle) and Maryellen Mezzacappa (Jeffery); and his grandchildren, Richard J II, Paige, Tori, Matthew, Julianna, Debbie Jo and Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation in memory of Richard.
