He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Patane and Mary Patane. He is survived by: his in-law Marie LaTorre; his sisters, Rosalie and Karen; and his significant other Joyce LaTorre. He is also survived by his two brothers, sisters and brother-in-law, son and daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
