In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his father Brendan Hoey. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Hoey; his siblings, Anne Marie McDonough, Sharon Cohen, Paul Hoey, Catherine Stalmanis, Carolyn King and Laura Baird; and his uncle Kevin Hoey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as three grandnephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harmon Funeral Home (571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (981 Castleton Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Addeo Hospice, 78 Meisner Ave., Staten Island, N.Y., 10305.
