She is survived by: her daughter Debra Atkins of Brooklyn; her husband Deacon Freddie Atkins; her children, Beverly Atkins of Staten Island and Timothy Hayes of Staten Island; her grandchildren, Zhanaya Gurganious-Perez (Michael), Cornell Gurganious, II of Brooklyn, Charles Hinton, Jr. of Woodbury, Timothy, Danny, Michael, Elijah and John Hayes of Atlanta, Georgia; and her sisters-in-law, Minnie Atkins and Lucille Gaddy of Brooklyn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
