With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie Hassan (Staten Island, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marie left this world on January 13, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmelo Giamboi and Consiglia Giamboi; her daughter Doreen Bolbat; and her children-in-law, Margaret Kelly, Fred Mavaro and Jim Bolbat.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Kelly, Christine Mavaro and Joey Petrazzulo; and her brother Angelo Giamboi. She is also survived by Mother to her children and a doting Grandmother to her grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St Thomas the Apostle Church (50 Maguire Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
