With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Caria (Staten Island, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 89. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marie may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Anthony Caria, Carmela Dimesa, Catherine Graci, Salvatore Caria and Daniel Caria.
She is survived by: her brother Vincent Caria. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Hearts St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church (125 Summit St, Brooklyn, NY 11231).
