He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Elaina, Ben (Suzanne), Kelly (Sam) and Dawn (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Brittany, Ryan, Maria, Nicole, Sabrina, Samantha, William, Julia and Christina.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations can be made in Joseph's name at Staten Island University Hospital Nalitt Center.
