With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Metelitz (Staten Island, New York), who passed away on March 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jacob departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jacob may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jacob leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Galina Metelitz; his sons, Vadim Metelitsa (Kate) and Gary Metelitsa; his grandchildren, Noah, Camryn, Gabriel and Eli; and his siblings, Irene Bielsky and Lenny Metelitsa.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Hebrew Cemetery (122 Arthur Kill Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306).
