It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack J. Janusis (Staten Island, New York), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Jack departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jack. Though Jack may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marija Janusis and Juozas Janusis; and his children, Deborah, Dorothy, Monica, Jennifer, Christopher and Julio. He was also cherished by his six children, 19 grandchildren, and six, soon to be seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at 61 New Dorp Ln, Staten Island, NY 10306.
