He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Gloria Johnson; and his brother David L. Johnson. He is survived by: his son Michael (Mikey Poo); his nephew David (Day Day Poo); his siblings, Deneicia George, Deborah Jackson, Doreen Johnson and Deidre Johnson; and his cousin Kyle Best. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews as well as lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home (1055 E Jersey St, Elizabeth, NJ 07201).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
