We bid farewell to Giovanna DeCaro (Staten Island, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Giovanna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Sarullo and Grazia Sarullo; her husband Giacamo DeCaro (Gino); her son Joseph DeCaro; and her brother Giuseppe Sarullo (Maria).
She is survived by: her sisters, Rosa Scala (Salvatore) and Maria DeCaro (Salvatore); her children, Vincent DeCaro (Lina) and Emily DeCaro Smith (John); her grandchildren, Gino DeCaro (Teresa), Christina Sacco Voeglie (Jeremy), Adriana Sacco and Charlie Sacco; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Voeglie and Peter Sanchez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Child Church (4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
