We bid farewell to Giancarlo Maratea in Staten Island, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2024 at the age of 77. Giancarlo touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Giancarlo shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Giancarlo farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vincenza Maratea; his children, Giancarlo Maratea and Alexandrea Aimetti; his children-in-law, Danielle Maratea and Nicholas Aimetti; his grandchildren, Mattingly and Lorenzo; and his sister Gaetana Miglino.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
