It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis X. Murphy of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his daughter Abigail Murphy; his siblings, Catherine James, Ciaran Murphy, Donal Murphy and Mareid Tillis; and his nieces, Ava Murphy and Britney Tillis.
