It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Catherine Baran of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Baran and Wolodmyr Baran; and her siblings, Dorothy Baran and Walter Baran. She is survived by: her siblings, Taras Baran (Margaret) of New York and Anna Paolino (Philip) of Pennsylvania; and her nieces and nephews, Kristen Sloan (Jared) of Sandpoint, Astrid Baran, Stephanie Baran, Samantha Baran, Connor, Aidan, Andrew, Eva, Tess, Molly and Nick Sloan.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (601 S Lincoln Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864). A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
