She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Rivas and Gregoria Figueroa; and her siblings, Luis Rivas and Ana Rivas. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Andrejcisk (Cherice), Andrew Andrejcisk (Patricia) and Maria Fisher (Tom); her foster son Steven Friedberg; her siblings, Laura Rivas, Carmen Benitez and Juan Rivas; her grandchildren, Lita Brooker, Elizabeth Andrejcisk, Christine Andrejcisk, Alexandria Andrejcisk, Lirio Andrejcisk, Tommy Fisher, Candice Andrejcisk, Andrew Andrejcisk, Joshua Fisher, Ariel Andrejcisk, Gabrielle Andrejcisk and Elyse Andrejcisk; and her close friends, Viagiving, Lucy Rivas and Charlotte. She is also survived by grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harmon Funeral Home (571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel (1265 Castleton Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310).
The family would prefer flowers or a donation to Lucy's hospice care.
