It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derrick Carter in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Sheila Carter (Shameeka) and Derrick Wilson; his uncle Russell; his aunt Nicki Carter; his grandparents, Irving Carter and Peggy Carter; his siblings, Mishonia, Dee and Lasandra; and his children, Savannah, Nia'miah, Juston, Delilah, Deja and DJ. He is also survived by cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stradford Home (1241 Castleton Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
