She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Dudley (William Bethea) and William Bethea; her husband Clinton L. Jackson; and her great grandchild Gavin Jackson (Aaron). She is survived by: her children, Troy, Tanya, Curtis and Keith Jackson; her grandchildren, Aaron Jackson, Dante Vinzant, Curtis Jackson Jr., Stephanie Jackson, Mekhi Jackson, Anandii Jackson, Kenaysha Jackson, Kashayla Jackson and Taylor Jackson; her great grandchildren, Caynece Jackson and Jasiyah Jackson; her aunt Rev. Yvonne Stradford; her uncle Rudolph Stradford; and her sisters, Patricia Dallas and Willie Joyce Clarke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Central Baptist Church (117 Wright St, Staten Island, NY 10304). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
Carolyn alongside her mother Catherine Bethea worked in setting up the first Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation on Staten Island.
