As Carmine departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carmine may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carmine leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Zappola and Maria Zappola. He is survived by: his brother John Zappola; his wife Joan Zappola; his children, Paul Zappola (Miriam) and Donna Castelbuono (Fred); and his grandsons, Edward John Kaminski, Michael Zappola, Carmine John Zappola and Christopher Stephen Zappola.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Child Church (4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
