It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Asterios Diamantopoulos of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Asterios' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Asterios has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Diamantopoulos and Maria Diamantopoulos; and his brother Dan Diamandis. He is survived by: his wife Ioanna Diamantopoulos; his children, Maria Mantopoulos (Costa), George Diamantopoulos (Carol Spicer) and Elias Diamantopoulos (Josie); and his grandchildren, Jeannie Mantopoulos, Aris Mantopoulos, Hope Diamantopoulos, Steven Diamantopoulos and Matthew Diamantopoulos.
