Harrington (Staten Island, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jack McLaughlin and James Harrington; her siblings, Peter Farrell and Grace Gillen; and her grandson Devin McQueen.
She is survived by: her children, John McLaughlin (Susan), Jean Conanan (Adam), Michael McLaughlin (Kim) and Colleen McQueen (Derrick). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a close, dear extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Clare Church (110 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308).
