He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. W. and Sarah "Ella" Ellen Bush (Bebee); his wife Ann Marie Phillips; and his siblings, Jane Paro, Myrtle Gotham, Doris Hubbard, Richard, Alex, William "Stewart", George "Robert", Clifford and Francis "Frank".
He is survived by: his children, David Bush (Jackie) of Hudson, FL, Shelly Rauth of Star Lake, Penny Didas (Robert Thomas) of Potsdam, Brian Bush of Oswegatchie, William "Billy" Bush of Oswegatchie and Peggy Hart (Francis) of Harrisville; and his siblings, Mary Boyea (Bucky), John Bush and Earl Bush (Kim). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
